More than 20 Olympic champions, trainers and additional international athletes have put their names to a letter urging a end to the execution of a boxing titleholder and trainer, who is sentenced to die in Iran.

Growing Global Anger

Amidst increasing worldwide anger over the country's increasing application of capital punishment as a tool of oppression, the strongly worded letter condemns the government's decision to uphold the death sentence of the boxing champion.
