In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden group.

The mission centers on "strange experiments and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
